SPF is teaming up with Old Town Untapped in Pompano Beach for the SPF’22 Doodle Party!

Join us for Pompano Beach’s Arts Festival! Patrons experience a night filled with live music by local bands and a local DJ, art gallery openings at Bailey Contemporary Arts Center, craft beer, food trucks, and artist vendors selling unique and artistic merchandise.

All are invited to exercise their creative muscles and doodle with us! Doodle Parties invite everyone to doodle down and get involved with spontaneous drawings, doodles, scribbles or other markings. No skill, purchase, rsvp or pre-registration required. SPF will take over a space, covering the walls in blank paper for your doodling pleasure. Pens, markers and other doodling utensils provided. Stop in at any time during the event to make your mark.

At the end of the event, SPF gathers the doodles to make an edition of the official SPF Doodle Zine, with your contributing words, scrawls, comics, cartoons and, of course, doodles. SPF Doodle Zines are available for pre-order at the Doodle Party, and available for pick up and purchase at SPF Small Press Fair. Put your beer goggles to good use, and enter the beer closet, if you dare! We will have the walls covered in blank paper for your doodling pleasure. Come in any time during open hours until last call. At the end of the night, we will take down your doodles to make the next volume of the SPF Doodle Zine with your contributing words, scrawls, comics, cartoons and doodles. You can pre-order your co-authored Doodle Zines, with all proceeds going to support SPF'19.

Get ready to geek out with us on all things comic and zine-related! We will have a wall int he museum covered in blank paper for your doodling pleasure. Come in any time during the event, 10am-6pm, or come by the week following until July 19th to doodle

After July 19th, we will take down your doodles to make the next volume of the SPF Doodle Zine with your contributing words, scrawls, comics, cartoons and doodles. You can pre-order your co-authored Doodle Zines, with all proceeds going to support SPF'19.

We will have the front gallery walls covered in blank paper for you to doodle your heart out! 

At the end of the night, we will take down your doodles to make the Volume 2, Issue 2 SPF'17 Doodle Zine with your contributing words, scrawls, comics, cartoons and doodles. 

We'll be Doodle Partying with cookies by Dan the Cookie Man, soda, beer and Doodle Zine pre-orders, with all proceeds going to support SPF'17.
